This is a sience-fiction play. It speaks of a very different and alien world where, in completely unreal manner, experiences occur so similarly to ours. The story is the following. In a future not so far away, a new civilization (almost certainly non-human) will have taken over our place on Planet Earth, that same place that had been left, in order: Dinosaurs, Neanderthal, Rome, Carlo Magno, the Egyptians, the Clergy, the Japanese, the Chinese, Robots, God, Secret Societies, Satan. This new race, or class, of super-men and women-no-more, will find itself in the painful situation of having to govern the world. So, completely absorbed by founding a new Order for the living, will have less and less time to study the dis-order we’ve left behind. And exactly for this, with conscious disregard and spontaneous sloppiness, the new contemporaries will archive, once and for all, the glories and the bores of our history.
Now, with the intent of offering the future a precedent, this play describes the present as if it were past, offering an example of the same incoherent and disorderly list with which the Sapiens-Sapiens-Sapiens of the future will look at the Sapiens-Sapiens of times gone, in other words us.
Updating the above preamble, so to be able to do without it, we wish to say that this play is a piece of ancient erudition, dedicated to posterity, to the future fruiter, who may as well laugh at our attempt to imagine his time, but will have to quickly turn serious. Will he be able to see our aimless wondering? And in that, will he be able to see his own? Vice versa? In that case he will be able to remove himself from our work, so intimately enriched, and turn his sight towards his world, and see it as if it had just been invented.
